Privacy notes

Plain language, general in scope. If something here does not answer your question, the account page is the place to ask.

Who we mean by "we"

SEOMasters.dev is the operator of this site and its API. When these notes say we, they mean the SEOMasters.dev team.

For any privacy question or request, use the account page. We do not publish a separate mailbox for it.

What the service needs to know

Sign-in uses a Google account, so the service receives the basic identity details that Google passes on after you approve the sign-in. The account then holds your API key and your credit balance.

Top-ups are made in USDT on the TRC-20 network. A blockchain transfer is public by nature, so treat anything you send on-chain as visible to others.

Free lookups such as the DR checker send the domain you type to our API, because it cannot answer otherwise. Nothing secret belongs in that box. Type only what you would be happy to see in a server log.

  • Account identity from Google sign-in
  • API key and credit balance
  • Records of calls made with your key, including the credit cost
  • Domains you submit to the explorer

What we do with it

We use this data to run the account, answer API calls, bill credit against calls and keep the service working. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your sign-in to send marketing you did not ask for.

Your API key is a secret. Whoever holds it can spend your balance, so keep it in server-side configuration, as explained in the proxy guide.

Cookies and the browser

The site may store a small amount of data in your browser, for example to keep you signed in. Block or clear it in your browser settings, though signing in may then fail.

Links to outside sites are plain mentions of tools and organisations, and each of them has its own policy.

Children

The API is built for developers. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data on purpose. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us through the account page.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to close your account. Do it through the account page and say which of the three you want.

These notes may change as the service does. Check the date at the top of the page, which shows the last edit, before you rely on an old copy of them.

Questions about a transfer to someone outside the service should go to that party. We cannot answer for them.
